Every London borough compared

Twenty-one public measures for each of London’s 33 boroughs — recorded crime, stations, bus routes, schools, Ofsted grades, green space and Census figures — with every number ranked against the other 32.

Inner London

Denser, better connected, more expensive — and where recorded crime rates run highest, partly because daytime populations are not counted.

Outer London

More green space and more owner-occupiers, with transport that thins out the further from the centre you go.

Boroughs are big. Streets are not.

A borough average hides the difference between two streets ten minutes apart. AreaScore gives a single 1-10 score for any London postcode, down to the street.
